Important Information
* Your exchange is strictly not transferrable for commercial gain and should you use your exchange for such purposes, your membership will immediately be cancelled without any booking and membership fee refund.
** Please note: The resort will be obliged to refuse admittance, if this confirmation letter is not produced or the person wishing to use the booking is not the member as stated on the letter, or is not in possession of a valid guest certificate, or if the indemnity form is not duly completed or signed. The resort will require Identification documents to validate that the person checking in is indeed the person indicated on the confirmation letter.
* Resorts are required to check proof of Identity upon check in.
* No Overoccupancy will be allowed. Children of all ages and babies are included in the number of guests.
* Please advise the resort of all check-ins after 7pm, in order for arrangements to be made for an after hours check-in with security.
* Members may not use the facilities at Pine Lake Marina.
* Paddle boats and canoes are free to use. There is an additional cost to some of the other water sport activities.
* A Recreational Fishing permit can be bought at the Sedgefield Post Office or San Parks Offices, this will allow you to fish at Baywater Village.
* Baywater Village management and staff will assist in any way they can to ensure that you have a truly fantastic holiday experience; however, it is essential that all guests conform to the terms and conditions of occupation and respect the rights of all parties concerned.
* The units are NOT wheelchair friendly.
* There are No units on the waterfront.
* Arrangements can be made for special occassions. Please email requests to resortmanager@baywaterv.co.za for assistance.
* Trading Hours for facilities on the resort are:
- Reception – Daily from 08:00-16:30 (Tue-Thu) 08:00-19H00 (Mon&Fri) Saturday 08:00 - 12:00. Closed on Sunday
- Café – Open from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Sunday
- Bar- Open daily. Closed on Mondays
- Kiosk- Tuesday to Sunday 08:00 - 17:00. Closed on Mondays
- Boathouse- Daily from 08:00-17:00
** Please note: Load shedding does affect the resort and the water supply. It is advisable to bring along extra emergency lights and anything else you may need during an outage.
** Please note: The resort does not do daily linen changes. With the country’s current state of water shortages we are trying to save water by not washing towels every day. Towels will gladly be changed on request or by leaving your towels in the bath or washing basket. Charges do apply if service is abused.**
** Please note: Late Check-out will incurr a penalty fee for every hour after 10am. There is also a penalty fee charged for the loss of unit keys.**
** Please note: If the Key & Breakage deposit is paid in cash on arrival, it will be refunded on check-out. If the deposit is paid is paid by credit card, it will only be refunded once the resort has received the proof of banking from the guest and this may take up to 4 working days.
** Please note: No pets are permitted at any resort **
** Please note: Guests are requested not to remove the white towels from the units. Please bring your own swimming towels.**
** Please note: Sleeper couches are only suitable for small children under the age of 12 **
** Please note: Should there be an unusually sour smell around the resort, it is caused by the Milkwood Tree that is in abudance on the resort.**
** Please note: There are monkeys in the Swartvlei area, please ensure that all doors and windows are closed should you leave the unit, to prevent any damage.**
** Please note: There are mosquitoes during warmer seasons. Please bring your preferred repellants with you. Please also keep doors and windows closed at night.**
** Please note: Please adhere to the Smoking Regulations of the resort. Any smoking in the unit will result in a penalty fee.**
** Please note: Failure to abide by the resort rules and or any directive from management may lead to your eviction at the resort. You are required to adhere to the resorts rules especially, but not limited to, noise levels, alcohol and drug abuse, verbal abuse, immoral behaviour and any other rule that contradicts the resort rules. Non compliance will lead to immediate eviction at managments and / or security's sole discretion.**
** Pleasee note: There are currently road works taking place on the turn off between the N2 and the entrance to the resort. Apologies for any inconvenience. (Updated 03/06/2024)
